I just got a 1996 1840 Uni-Loader that has a 62" ( about a 1/4 yd. I think) wide bucket. I was wondering about going to a larger size bucket Can I put one that is wider on it ? I think it can lift about 1400 pounds. Also there is a reference to breakout force, can some one explain what this means?

Thanks for all your help with the unit. I am getting to know alot about using it on the ranch but any suggestion would be much appreciated.

Alex

Normally, buckets are fitted to be just a little wider than the tires, so you can work up against a wall or edge. If you have the quicktach mount, nothing should stop you from going to a wider or narrower bucket..... . Breakout force is based on power using bucket tilt.... much easier to roll a stump or rock out, that try to push it....
