Hello all. I've just purchased an early 70's jd350 (b, I think) outside blade dozer.

I have two questions I hope people can help me with. The first is finding a source for manuals. I'd love to find them in a digital format, but just finding them at a fare price would be great.

The second is figuring out what it has for a motor. The dozer is being delivered in the morning, so I'll be able to dig into this more tomorrow, but it's powered by a 4 cyl gas engine. It's a very clean install, factory clean really. As I understand it the std gas motor was a 3 cyl. Did JD install a 4 cyl in this dozer?

Thanks.

Deere only made the 350 series with three cylinder engines - gas and diesel.

Try Ed Tucker (jrcedmon@seidata.com) for the service manual, you'll need one for sure.

The John Deere site at JohnDeere.com has an online parts catalog. Here is a link you can use instead on searching for the correct button on the page.
I have used this to poke around for parts.

I also have the complete set of manuals I received from people here and also bought a couple from ebay. You got to be patient but they pop up now and then at a good price.
