The retaining screw on the timing gear end of the magneto shaft came out and let the gear back off until a catastrophic mesh occurred between the timing gear on the mag. and the flywheel on the pony motor, and broke the magneto shaft. I need another magneto. It doesn't need to be in working condition as I am using a battery and Coil, and only using it as "timing" device. My broken Mag. is a Prestolite with a Caterpillar# 4S6471. Any help out there ?
