I'm looking for a repair manual for a CK680 backhoe. Does anyone know where I can get a good one?

Thanks in advance...

J Sales is not known for good print quality, the one thing they don't tell you. They also are bound with spiral bindings, similar or the same as an "Ibico" type binding ( I have one of these binding machines ). Appears to be photocopy print quality. The binding does allow the manual to lay flat with pages open, just that type of binding may not hold up as long. It seems this outfit has information on quite an array of equipment, surprised they don't offer a higher print quality line up.

I recall asking several questions regarding the quality of print etc. etc. with no response, so buyer beware, just a FYI, as I'm aware of many people who have made these comments as well, have seem some of their prices, some of which seem kind of high for photocopy quality print, especially the pictures which are important. Just an observation. My preference is to find a good quality original and or like what Caterpillar used to offer through a printing outfit, but is now in house again, which is a professionally done reprint, quality binding and print quality that you can make copies of particular sections then take to the shop and are disposable, while your original is kept out of the shop, although sometimes youjust have to bite the bullet and run to the sink to clean off the oil and grease from ones hands ! On my HP 6110 all in one printer, I can enlarge the page to make it easier to read, with a good quality print to start from, the resolution is better and yu don't lose so much when enlarging to mek things easier to read. Some manuals are tough to lay flat. Ones that are small and thick, the bindings get creased heavily. I'm sure everyone has their own preference, but I thought I'd mention it.

Check here on E-Bay, always decent originals up for auction:

While a origional OEM manual is usually the best route to go they aren't always readily available or available at a decent price. Too, working on equipment for a living like I do I'm not usually gonna spend $250 on a manual to work on a specific/odd ball machine once knowing the chances of seeing another one are slim to none. This being the case, I've bought probably 15 or 20 manuals from them in the past 8 years or so and all but a couple of them have been excellent quality in both the print and the pics. When you look at their catalog they have it annotated if the manual isn't "up to par" and if I'm not mistaken they also have a no questions asked return policy if your not happy with it when it arrives. The main thing is that even if the manuals are reprints they are typically reprints of the origional manuals and not from some aftermarket outfit that only gives you half of the information you need to do the repairs. Just another .02 for what it's worth.

The other post had the sound of the name down but not the right spelling. I'd post you a link but the times in the past I've tried YT wouldn't let it go through, I guess because they are one of the competetion in the manual business. To me that's a sorry way to be, especially if somebody is looking for a manual they don't have, but to each his own...the web address, without all the hyphens is --J-E-N-S-A-L-E-S-.-C-O-M Good luck.

I think you can find a repro at gen sales. they are on ebay. just search for their name or for repair manuals. I bought one from them for about $40.

Thanks for the suggestion. I see there is one on e-bay but is in Canada. Needs an International money order for payment. I don't know how soon it will ship either, I'd like to have it next week.

If you are sending funds to Canada, use a Western Union Money Order. Much cheaper than an International USPS Money Order and just as easy to cash up north.
