I bought a 575D TLB this spring to start working my land, digging a pond first.

I've been logging the land, and the 575D had worked out great.

I plan to dig the pond next summer, and I'd like to start looking for a Crawler Dozer.

The dealer that I bought my 575D from, has a CAT D4D, but they want $17,500 for it. I think that's a bit steep. I looked on the hour meter yesterday, and it has around 3000 hrs, but who knows if that's accurate.

Pins show wear, but I'm not UC expert, so not sure how bad it is.

If I take pics of the UC & show you guys, think you could help me evaluate the Dozer a bit?

Actually, just tell me what to take picture os, and then I can post them here.

You can see my logging progress pics if you cut & paste this URL:

Oh, they also have a JD 750B that I was looking at. Not sure what the price is on that.

Is a 6-way blade a must for digging a pond?
