D2 Pony Motor won't stay engaged

The engaging lever does connect the pony motor to the Main, but when reaching high RPM it disengages. There has been a hole cut with a torch through the case and I can see a part with clamp arms and springs that runs on a shaft that must connect to something. The shaft wobbles like probably a bearing is gone. When the pony motor is coming to a stop, it wobbles hard enough to create sparks as it hits the sides of the case. My question is, does anyone know if that is repairable by just pulling the Pony motor, or is it more extensive?

Hello again Hector. Part # 4b1597 wobbles on the shaft. It looks to me like there are (4), 7/16" set screws that are missing and allows that part to go back too far on the shaft and doesn't keep it centered on the shaft, that may be why it doesn't stay engaged? I would like to buy a good manual to repair things. I bought one for $34.00 on E-Bay and it is a worthless bunch of photocopied paper. thnx again, M.Guy
