I just purchased a 1966 310g. It ran fine for a week. Now it is hard to start most of the time. When it starts it runs great, but most of the time, it does not start at all. I have changed all fluids and Im getting ready to change the fuel filters, but I cant get it to start to move it into the garage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have the valves been adjusted lately? sometimes the valves get out of wack and you need starting fluid to start it or tow the machine to loosen the valves up. Or it could be a bad electrical connection to the starter/battery, or a shot starter. Perhaps the battery is undersize or undercharged and not providing enough power to the solenoid. I am not a mechanic just offering some tips....good luck!
