I am trying to find out the name of a machine that was used in the 1950s to load sugar beets from the beet pile into railroad cars for tansportation to the sugar factory. It was a crawler type loader with a bucket that went over the top of the machine so it did not have to turn around between loading the bucket from the pile and dumping the bucket into the hopper rail car. I think it was all mechanical (wheels and pulleys - no hydraulics).

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Jim Armstrong - Idaho
