I have seen for sale, once in awhile small skidsteers (Case,Bobcat, etc.)with Kohler, Tecumseh and other small engines with 14 to 20hp. They look like they would be ideal for some of the work I have around home (clearing brush, removing snow, making ATV trails, some small land scaping jobs etc.)I work in a small engine shop so working on or replacing the engines would be easy for me. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with these small engine powered skid steers, how they worked, what models and brands to look for and what kind of a price range they are going for. Thanks for any help, Ash

I have an ancient Bobcat 610 with a Wisconsin engine. It"s fast and versatile. I have snow and dirt buckets and homemade forks. I use it for all kinds of jobs and work it pretty hard: digging, moving fill and mulch, clearing snow, dragging logs, backdragging to smooth dirt road, etc.

We have a Bobcat 835 with a 14HP Koler on it. Its a fun little toy but doesn't really do much unless the stuff is loose. It does work well for cleaning out the barn and moveing gravel etc.
