How interchangeable are the parts in the 310 final drives? I have a '59 310C (Finally found the serial number) and have a right final drive out. I found a guy with a complete left final for sale for $250 which seems like a pretty good price but I don't know if the pieces will interchange. Any clues? The casting numbers are different in that mine read Terratrac 11823 and his were something else on the outboard side. I have the inboard numbers at work and will post them later today.

Oh ya, where do you find a 3 1/2 inch socket to work on that big ole nut holding the drive sproket on? It looks like I'm gonna be in the tool making business 'cause I can't find one.

Thanks

Thanks for the advise

Hey KDpearson, I went to a local rent-it shop and got what they called a Slug Wrench. It was about a foot and a half long with a square end on it that you Slugged with a hammer, the other end was a 6 point box end wrench. The rent-it shop had a lot of different sizes. I used it on my Case 350 to change my rear drive chain sprockets. Mark
