Need a "trunion cap" for the lift cylinder on an HD5G. The part number is 1991 or 1990 in the Tractomotive parts book listed under "frame group". This cap holds the lift cylinder to the frame. It looks like a main bearing cap. Thanks, Frank

Frank, I have a couple of HD-5 patrs frames. One was the loader.Could you scan the manual picture of the part you need in some parts picture. If I have it and don't need it you can have it. I don't have a manual that shows the part. Good luck. Craig

Craig, Thanks for your reply. I don't have a way to scan the picture, sorry. The trunion cap has two bolts in it and to remove the lift cylinder, you have to remove the trunion cap. They go over the two pivot pins sticking out of each side of the lift cylinders. Each lift cylinder has two trunion caps, an inner and an outer. If this doesn't help, I will try to find someone with a scanner. Thanks, Frank

I have a whole HD5G tractoshovel for sale. Tracks 40-50%. rebuilt tranny less than 50 hours ago. New alternator, track adjusters froze. new blower on motor less than 50 hours. Engine good. water pump leaks sometimes, may just need grease. radiator has been patched. I was thinking of parting it out but would take $2500 for the whole machine. Needs some UC work, but otherwise a good machine. It was painted yellow by the previous owner, don't know why he picked yellow? Lots of good spare parts.
