I found an old John Deere 440 with a diesel motor, it runs, drives and steers good, but has rough sheet metal. What is it worth? Also, what is an MC john deere in the same condition worth?

Hello Andy J,

I may be interested in purchasing your machine if you are selling it. Anyone else please let me know. I am interested in a John Deere 440 diesel loader.

Tim

Hard to say, other than what someone is willing to pay for it. There is one on Ebay with a loader for the 2nd or 3rd time for $2500 reserve and no one has bid on it yet.
I recently bought a 44O I.C. gas dozer that is pretty straight and runs well for $1,500. Don't know if that is good or not, but you would likely make more parting it out if $ is you main concern.
Does it have PTO or 3 Point?
