I started pulling the tracks to get to the finals for my steering clutches and I keep finding things that need work.
1- The front wheel(Big solid wheel)is in need of some bearings. I have never seen so much play in my life, so I need bearings.
2- The tracks have way to much play, I need bushings. I have an idea on making my own press. Do you think 10 tons will push them out?
3- I dont know when or how but the large cast block that mounts the rear cross bar is broken and the cap is gone. I will need both pieces (left side)

Any leads on parts supliers?
Thanks, Brian

I assume you have a 350B John Deere,If so i have some used front idlers. Also what part of the country are you in?? Labor on track press work is not that expensive. I get around $200. per side plus bolt time to do a 350 track also i do them on a 60 ton OTC track press. I DO NOT recommend pressing track yourself it is very dangeous, even with the right press thing explode and fly.Email me if you have questions.

Thanks,
I need a sourse for Idler bearings.

I can't build a press for 100 tons, I can't even imagine 100 tons.
