Deere 450 replacement backhoe

I need to replace the current JD 9300 backhoe on my early JD 450 loader - control valves, pins, etc. are all in need of rebuilding and the overall cost appears to exceed what I've seen some later units such as a 9550 sell for - like to also get away from the old swing motor. Can anyone help with what later models of JD crawler backhoes will be a direct replacement for my present hoe & perhaps put me onto a good used one. Thank you,

The 9550 will fit were the 9300 will. It is a slightly small machine.

Thank you for your reply. Is there anything else that needs to be taken into consideration other than simply matching the pins into the crawler. I ask because a local Deere dealer had suggested that the pump - I believe 17GPM on my old 450 wasn't adequate for the later hoes such as the 9550 - I'd assume that at worst, the later models would just be slower with less breakout than what they were designed for. Any other models that you may suggest for fit aside from the 9550?

First the 9300 is a bigger hoe than the 9550. The 9300 is rated for 28 gpm at 2250 psi, the 9550 is rated for 23 gpm at 2250 psi. The 9300 was desidgned to be used on the loader that has a 28 gpm syatem at 2250 psi. The dozer had a 15 or 17 gpm pump and a system pressure of 1750 psi. The 9550 was usually used on the dozer with a 23 gpm pump and a flow divider to reduce the flow to the dozer. If you used a 9300 on your machine then the 9550 will be faster with less power since the cylinder are smaller.
