Hello,
I have an HD-5G and am wanting to add a third hydraulic valve on it to enable hydraulic cylinder operation of a grapple I plan to build for the bucket. I've got some thorny brush to handle and the grapple will help. I've seen 3rd valves added to the HD-5G's normal valve body, but thought someone might be able to tell me how to plumb in the additional valve.
Thanks.

The easiest way would be to install a double selector valve in the bucket roll circuit. This valve selects between 2 oil circuits. You can run 2 different cylinder circuits with the same original control valve, by shifting the selector valve when needed. surplus center.com has a good selection. Item # 9-6131 is 30 gpm with3/4" ports.Or you can purchase a single control valve with a power-beyond plug and plumb it in before the original valve. Or if you can find an original valve out of a donor machine and use longer bolts to add a section to your valve. Your choice....
