Sometimes rusted/seized clutch packs can be freed up by partially filling the clutch compartment(s) with diesel fuel. Then tie back the clutch lever(s) so that they are constantly in the disengaged position and work the machine extensively. After awhile the clutch(s) might unstick themselves. Also make sure the brakes are adjusted properly, have sufficient pad material on them, and are not soaked/contaminated with grease or oil. Otherwise you'll probably have to remove the clutch pack(s), break them apart, clean them up and reassemble/repair as necessary.

As far as the right side, if you go up a steep hill and pull the right lever, the machine should start veering to the right even without brake - if it does this means the clutch is releasing and the brake is the likely problem (make sure your clutch lever is adjusted properly so that it is really disengaging the clutch though). If this doesn't help you can go to the redpower site to learn more, see link below. Good luck.

What control valve are you referring to? I'm assuming you have an old TD15 with dry clutches and mechanical hand levers. Does it have some sort of hydraulic power assist system? If so I'm not familiar with them (I have a TD9B), but I'm sure someone at the redpower site will be able to help.

i have a couple td15's i feel you need to go to manual and do a major adjustment including planetry's and brakes on foot pedal's also hand brakes when right you can steer with one finger if planetary's are not kicking tractor out when you pull the lever first notch it will not steer try that adj first if you need more info 606 528 1458
