Just bought the above dont know any thing about the 2300 does any one own one that would give some info on this machine.it has vh4d wisconsin engine would like info about the sprockets and drive chains that are under the seat and the shifting yoke and drive train, any info appreciated.

Check Ditch Witch web site, they might have a operators manual to download. Drove one for many years, those chains need the right tension and plenty of grease in the shaft bearings. three different chains and the belts on the end to drive the digging. What do you want to know?

Would like to know how to adjust digging chain tension cant see any way to adjust the chain on this 2300,may be cause i know nothing about it any other help you can give will be appreciated.Bty i figured out the maze of chains and idlers under the seat.thank you very much.
