I recently picked up a JD bulldozer and both track adjusters seem to be inop. The model number on the plate says 440 CD. These adjusters are hydraulic (grease gun) operated. Does anyone know where I could find the manual versions for this machine? Has anyone actually rebuilt the hydraulic adjusters? Any info would help. Thanks

Nothing to rebuilding them if you can get them apart. Hone the cylinder end, put a new cup on the rod end and install a new seal.

Thanks for the info. One other question, when I pumped grease into the left adjuster, it started coming out a hole directly underneath the actuator almost directly under where the grease fitting is. Is there some sort of pressure relief port there or am I looking at a damaged actuator.
