If you are losing the fluid that quick you have a bad leak, make sure you find the leak by checking the lines and master cylinders, sometime the plastic reservoir can crack, if you can"t find an external leak then you may have an internal one, there is two bleed nipples marked in the attached drawing.its HY-Trans fluid that goes in the brakes.

Filled the reservoir to full this time, none leaked out? Left peddle does not feel like it has resistance except the return spring. Could the Master Cylinder be bad? When the left brake peddle is pressed no fluid movemnt in reservior. As you can tell I am new to working on equipment. Thanks for the reply.

It is usually the master cylinders that give trouble on those machines, the pistons stick in the cylinders and you don"t get a full stroke when the pedals are pressed, you can get repair kits from the dealer, the brakes are self adjusting and there is nothing can be done from the outside apart from bleeding,I"v been repairing those machines since they came on the market and had never fitted new discs to any to date, there is an additive to put in the trans oil if the brakes make a grutching sound,if I was doing your machine I would start with fitting two repair kits to the m/cylinders before going into the axles, to get to the discs the halfshaft housings have to be removed,if you have to do that the transaxle has to be lowered down from the frame so the gearshift rods have to be removed, before you remove the rods from the box put the lever into first and tie it there because when the two rods are disconnected the locking device on the lever will fall apart should the lever be allowed to flop about.

The bleeder screws (hex shaped) should be under the seat at the transaxle, inboard of the axle housings.

One person to pump the pedal and hold, while the other to opens the hex screw to bleed the air out. Then tighten hex screw, other person pumps pedal again and bleed.Repeat until air bubbles are gone while keeping master cyl.filled to proper level with proper oil.

I removed the access panel and found where the brake lines go into the top of transaxle. No hex head screws. I put fluid in the reservoir yesterday and it was empty this afternoon. The only leak I could find was around a loose bolt on the back of the transaxle. Tightened it up. Can I just loosen a fitting at the end of the bake line to bleed them?
