Hi all..hoping someone can help me-a friend has two "Midge" crawlers, they both use a Clark rearend and both need parts. He has been told many older forklifts also use this rearend but he does not know the actual model of the rearend or what other applications it was used in for sure. Can anyone help out with perhaps the rearend model number or a parts source for Clark rearend parts?...or maybe a forklift parts yard? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks much...

The Clark A-30 transmission was used in Cleatrac and Oliver HG/OC-3, ATC Terratracs from the GT-25/30 thru the 200,3000,400 & 500 crawlers. It was also used in the Case 300,310 and 320 crawlers. This was a very simple 3 speed tranny with reverse. I am not sure the Midget/Beetle crawlers used the Clark A-30.

To add to the list, other tractors that have Clark transmissions that may be the same or similar, are the Minne Moline BF or Avery BF or Cletrac General wheel tractors and many Bombadier crawler snow-cats. I've worked on a few Beetles and think they are quite different.

I think cletracs also used clark rear ends/trannys.

Thanks everyone for the help so far-I believe he has already ruled out the Avery & Moline tractors but I will look into it for sure. Gives us a place to look anyway! Thanks again!...
