They are available from Deere in CD form, it appears that the paper manuals are going to be obslolete. I checked on a manual for a 440IC last week, and it was NLA.
Watch E-bay, there are usually a few manuals on there.

Have 2010 diesel crawler. As of 12-11-03 paper manuals WERE still available. Mine were printed then. JD phone number for manuals is 1-800-522-7448. Ask for parts catalog number PC728. Operators manual number OMT 19256. Service manual number SM 2037. They ARE expensive but worth it. About $210.00 with shipping.

Skip, One other thing about manuals, make sure you give John Deere correct serial number of crawler, there are different operators manuals for serial no. 42001-up but parts and service manuals should be the same.
