JCB rams slipping

It seems that all the rams are slipping back could there be a common problem? It's a 1984 1400 backhoe

I would be checking the cylinder seals,they may not be leaking externally but can be leaking internally,that would be the cause of the rams not holding,it is easy to reseal JCB cylinders you just need a 36" pipe wrench to undo the gland nuts,someone on here was offering a workshop manual on CD some post down.
