That sure is a good looking Old Cat Grader. Are you sure you read the Serial Number Correctly? My Cat 12 is Serial # 8T 4349 and it was built in 1948. It has the Fuel Tank Filler under the Seat does yours? A few Graders after mine they Wisely changed the filler to outside the Cab Also yours looks like it has Factory Power Steering Which came out a bit later. These years came Strong Arm Steering from the factory but you could add a Char Lynn PS Unit that really works well on mine. CB48

How about 8T 15791? We use to have an older own with power assist. This has power steering. Fuel cap is on the outside right corner of the cab.

I have a Auto Control No 9K761 motor grader. Is there a service manual for that and also a Operators manual. We would like one if there is one out there for this. We are looking at the manuals on this web iste for it but just want to know if they are the right ones. Thanks Alan.

Nice Grader you have there. It has a D318 engine too if you didn't already know. There are lots of them still around working. The ones on snow removal have a lot of Cab Rot though.

That looks like an engine out of a 22. Email me and I will send you a bunch of pic of a Cat tractor drawn grader with a gasoline engine and power control box. 104060.414@compuserve.com
