Can anyone tell me about the cam oiling on a 3306. I need to insall cam bearings and cannot find oil holes in the block. The bearings have them but I only find one in the block for the first journal. Thanks Chuck

They should be drilled up from the mains Chuck. Look that cam over real good if you are reusing the old one.

Bob Thanks for the reply. I looked this engine over again still finding no oil holes. I called Cat they told me only #1 cam bearing has oil press fed to it others rely on splash. Later 3306 have press fed cam. So I thought I would send this info back to you for your future reference. Chuck
