The issue isn't if the pump will fit, it's if the fuel-delivery setting will match your engine. So, you either need a pump from a engine of the same size and horsepower rating, or if it's from a different rating - the fuel setting needs to be reset. This can be done with a micrometer - or by "ear" with a allen-wrench from outside the pump. As I recall, 450Ds had either a 4219 or a 4276 engine with turbo. The 450 series started with a 202 non-turbo, then a 219 non-turbo, then with the late "B"s, a 219 turbo - and then somewhere around D or E series, a 276 was used. The 450 series did not always use a DB or JDB pump either, some used the C or CB pump which is totally different then your's. For your knowledge - 450s used: CDC431-3DG, 6DG, 9DG, 14DG; CBC431-3AL, 15AL, CBC-435-2AL, 6AL; JDB431AL2731, AL2727. 450Bs used: JDB431AL2475, JDB435AL2442, MD2802. 450Cs used: JDB435AL2442, MD2802. If you have a 219 turbo, then it's likely a pump from a 450B or C, as long as it is a turbocharged engine, will have the correct fuel-delivery. The pump on a 219 turbocharged engine will have a roller-to-roller setting for fuel delievery set at 1.965".
