In 1991 when i was 2 my dad sold a td14 he had for about 30 years. he told me that the old dozers motor was shot. 2 summers ago we went to the persons home who bought it and there it was. im looking to buy it back and the man tells me that after about 30 mins running the oil pressure goes to zero. Anyone who might have a thought on what would cause this i would love any feedback.
Thankyou Stefan Deuville

Unless you have measured up what you have, how do you know that you need another? You already have one!

Could be a combination of reasons - bearings, oil pump, relief valves, oil, air leak into oil pick-up, blocked pick-up. Probably worn bearings, but until you get in and do a pressure test or visual inspection of the parts you can not tell how much remedial work will be needed. Certainly if motor has been run any length of time with little oil pressure the bearings will have taken a toll, along with the journals on the crank at least.

Gotta agree with Chip, after the oil warms up and thins out a little the bearing clearances are so loose the pressure simply disappears.

Worn crank bearings, and crank would be the most likely reason

HI That should be crank bearing.
