This machine starts and runs fine for awhile(10-15 min.) but then it will loose power and quit running. Have done all of the obvious(change filters, check lines for obstructions). Someone says the primer pump on the injection pump could be bad. Is this a possibility? Does anyone have any other ideas? It is a 4 cylinder.

Run it with a rag tied securly over the fuel filler and the cap off. Come on back with what happens.

I know what you are implying. Does the vent stop up sometimes or what ? This makes sense as to how it is acting. Actually, the machine belongs to a young friend and I am trying to help him solve the problem. I have never been there when it happens, he is telling me about it. Thanks.

It's not a common problem but could happen. If it's not the cap check the fuel line for free flow next.

Checked with the boy and he has done all of that. Has full flow at all times he says.

Has he ran it without the fuel cap too?
