Hi fellas,
Is there a cold weather hydro fluid to use when temps get way down? My 850 tractor wont lift or steer when really cold 15dg outside? Machine sits outdoors.

We ran Conoco "ice machine oil" year-round for the hydraulics in most our heavy equipment snow plows back in the 1980s. I don"t know if it"s still available. If you have warm summers you probably want to switch back to something heavier.

I have the same problem, all I do is start them up and walk away for 10-15 minutes. I use the thin hyd fluid and it doesn't matter cold oil just doesn't move till it warms some.
