I'm looking at an older D5 late 70's I think? The serial number is 96J3389. Does anyone have a reference where they could give me some info such as the year of manufacture? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Nathan

Thanks for the help fellas. Great site for greenhorns like me. I just bought the D5 to use on the farm and I suspect I'll be back with a few more questions. Thanks again.

Den BC, Thanks for the help. Are there any distinguishing characteristics I can look for to help me determine which end of that time frame it might be on?
