I was wondering if this is a good reliable crawler loader or if I should stay away from it & what I need to check when I go look at it?
Thanks

Overall it is a good machine but there are some things you should be aware of. There are two independant transmissions,(left & right sides),they are sunstrand hydrostatic units-cost about $12k each (parts only) to replace and hard to keep from leaking externally. Warm up the machine and dig hard with it, watch for trans. overheating, watch trans. charge pressure gauge-IT MUST STAY IN THE GREEN WHEN LOADING THE TRANSMISSIONS, the tracks should not stall. The oil tank to the right of operators seat (when facing foreward) is trans., left side is hyd.- for the loader functions. There is a splitter box mounted behind the engine, raise the floor plate at the operators feet check oil level and for leaks- it doesn't hold much oil, runs dry and damage occurs quickly. Make sure trans driveshaft ujoints are tight. Good luck.

Would you check for a seat belt and let me know how it is fastened to the unit? I need to know and have posted a question pertaining to a 555 model but no one has responded. Thanks
P.S. I think it fastens to the fuel tank and perhaps secondary attachment to seat frame tabs.
