Dozer will not start. I have bypassed safety switch and charged the batteries. It can be started by crossing out the solenoid and battery. WOULD THIS BE THE STARTER SWITCH OR THE SOLENOID? tHANKS FOR ANY HELP.

The machine has a safty so you can'r engauge the starter with the engine running most of the Komastu machines run it off of the output of the alt - if the alt is charging itsill not let the safty put power to starter. Check the alt and see if it has power coming out the R terminal with the key turned on but engine not running if so you have bad alt.
