I would like to switch the pilot controls on my excavator from JD to Cat pattern. Believe the machine is about 1994 120-3 series, with ELLE (electronic load sensing excavation system). Where do I switch hoses around and which hoses need to be moved? Thanks.

There are 4 hoses that need to be swapped.. On that vintage machine , I believe they will be under and to the rear of the cab . There is a bottom panel that needs to be removed . If you have a Deere dealer near you , get a copy of or have them fax you a copy of the directions with a diagram from a Deere 490E operators manual. Its the same machine except for the engine. The Hitachi manuals don't explain how to do it. If u email me a fax number , I could send it to you also..
