Your TD-8 Should Be The Same As TD-7E,&C. It's No Big Job Changing The Shoes, But Final Adjustments Are critical. Drain Oil, Removal Of Steering Levers, Fuel Tank, Cover, Brake Bars, Shafts, ETC. The Task Were'nt To Bad Using The Instruction Manual. Need Assistence, Email Me.

I removed mine without too much trouble. You don't have to remove the finals, just the fuel tank and cover on the rear main. It would be best if you bought a service manual for guidance. I am no mechanic by any means and all I had to have help with was lifting the tank on and off. Becareful when you remove the shoes cause I think there are some shims or differences between the steering brakes and the brakes but it has been a couple of years since I did it so I don't remember exactly.

Never had to deal with brake shoes but looked at my TD8E service manual about brakes. Appears they are accessable through the top of the rear frame. BIG job, seems like!!!! fuel tank gotta come off ect.!!!! Good luck! 'Mo
