Im trying to use the 3rd spool, that usually operates the 4in1 front loader bucket,as a supply for a logslitter.it seems as if the flow is resticted/reduced pressure.I have tried taking a feed off the bucket tilt rams and that works ok but is anything but conveinent.the 4in1 bucket was not fitted when I bought the digger so I dont really know how it should perform.also does anybody know the max hyd working pressure of this machine. Thanks ED

HI AJ
THanks for your reply, the splitter has its own valve,i was planning to tie back 4in1 lever for aconstant flow. When you refer to the port valve adjustment does this affect the flow, there is flow from this valve but it is restricted so the system is under heavy load constantly Thanks ED

That's a rare machine nowadays the 2D was not common here and I'm in the UK,its a while since I have worked on one and I am guessing that the pressure was about 2000 psi,you should have the same pressure for the 4 in 1 valve as the rest of the machine, the port valves had to be adjusted off the machine, look to see that they are there as they may have used blanks instead when the 4 in 1 was not fitted, there should be 6 in all 2 for each function,if the port valves are all there you could try swapping them from the tilt circuit, are you using the machine to supply the splitter with oil or to operate the splitter ie does the splitter have its own valve?
