Hoping this will work, but this is video of the Minnesota Mucker in action at the Le Sueur Pioneer Power show in Minnesota. It is pulled by an early Cat. D8, the mucker is powered by a IHC 10-20 power unit. A variety of steel wheeled dump wagons haul the dirt away.
Copy and paste this addres into your browser and see the mucker in action.

The vidio brought back memories of growing up in southern Saskatchewan. Our local municipality had an elevating grader that they used to build roads. I remember that they originally pulled it with a Cat 60 and later bought a D8. They used a Cat No. 12 grader to shape up the road surface. They also had another Cat 60 with a winch that they used to pull a cable scraper for building driveway approaches and digging farm dugouts. That machine they were still using until the 50's until it essentially died with it's boots on while digging a dugout.
