My mid-range HG with the Hercules IXB3 has a Zenith 51062 and it works fine. I have another newer HG, still with the Herc. IXB3 engine, with a Marvel Schebler 83350. My OC3 with the IXB3 Hercules also has the Marvel Schebler 83350. The older HGs with the IK engines (no water pump) use different carbs.

My OC-3 which is almost like the HG has a MS carb. Zimmermans will or should have parts for your carb and or new/rebuilt MS carbs

The HG that I bought when I was a kid came with a Marvel-Shebler carburator. It had fixed jets and I could never get it to run right. I replaced it with a Tillotson with adjustable jets. It always ran great. Great little tractor, I with I still had it.

I think you have that backwards The Tillotsons were junk early HGs had them later the M/S became standard and they had both high and low jet adjustment TSX 406 is the number HG and OC3 use. I have parts for them email; me and i will send you my web site link
