I am looking for a heavy duty and in good shape lowboy at a reasonable price to haul my d7 cat around the neighborhood.3 axiel would work better than 2 ,but 2 would work.If any one knows of 1 near Minnesota,please email me.Thanks for any help.Dave Ahlgren

get a copy of rock and dirt magazine. lots of places sell witzco challanger lowboys, brand new i think they"re less than 20 thousand. they wont take a load like a talbert, but you dont need that. they are also a ground bearing style, which makes them a bit of a pain to use, but saves money. also look on www.truckpaper.com, you may have to travel to get a lowboy, but some places specialize in them so you can look at a bunch all in one spot.

A tandem tractor and a tandem trailer is all ya need for a D7 they ain't that heavy and then try and find a Cheep road legal lowboy is like looken for HEN'S teeth . I have hauled a bunch of D 7's on a five axel and the only thing ya need is the over width permit.
