How does the PTO on a D6 compare to one on a tractor with the 3 pt hitch? Is it a 540? Is the coupler the same, or splined different? Is there a way to adapt 3 pt implements to a drawbar hitch setup? Just bought an ag Cat to pull stumps, want to see what else it'll do. Thanks!

Thanks for the info Bob. It does have a pump on it now, so Maybe I'll look for hydraulic drive implements.

That would be a good way to go. Hay Bines use that system.

I think it's a lot faster Eric, I'm sure it's engine speed and hooked to the trans input shaft. It's mainly used for powering a towing winch or cable control for blade or scraper. Some times they run a pump from it. It's not designed to run pto implements like an ag tractor. You would need to use it to power a speed reduction box with an output for that. You could mount ripper brackets to put 3pt hitch arms on.
