I have a Ford 4500 with a model (??) hoe on it. The hoe seems "sick" to me. The loader on the tractor seems ok. How and where do I check the pressures on this thing and what should they be. I guess at the pump would be first....
any suggestions or thoughts - thanks
Greg

Don't know where the pressures are checked (If I remember they are limit set to 2000psi so you don't start breaking things) but when I got my 4500 (with 755 backhoe) it was also really "sick" and making buzzing noises. The main filter was clogged and the screen in the bottom of the hydraulic tank was so plugged it had collapsed. Changed the filter and cleaned the screen and now it works like a dream.Cleaned the power steering screen in there at the same time also.
