tractor set up almost a year ithen changed oil filters cleaned trans sump screen changed trans oil too & used napa filters primed pump
then it would not move after playing with shift a while it started to move pushed some lite brush with it and it seemed to improve took a while for brakes to pump up
does not wont to turn unless speed is up and you brake it in jerks put it on a hard push and it quits i used aftermarket oil , is hytran like limited slip oil ? could that be the cause could it be that the filter will not pass enough volume of oil
looks like if i pause between shifts it engages more positive

because it worked good before i parked it i am
bewildered only 1190 hrs on it i think it is a 90 model SN TO450GF773164
will appreciate any ideas on this

I have had problems before on G series machines with the trans filter. Use only a JD filter on the trans or you will have problems. I normally use Wix filters for everything, but it will make a difference in this application... Also, using cheap oil can get expensive in a hurry on these machines. You may need to check and adjust the steering clutch pressures, do not adjust the linkage! The clutches adjust @ the steering valve on top of the transmission.

i just don't get it you have a machine worth 35,000 to 45,000 dollers and you try to save 20.00 dollers aftermarket oil.not all oils are the same and some do bad things i'd start with a oil change
