On my TD-8E the track tension keeps backing off. I pump grease in it...couple of days need to do again. What is involved to fix? Is it possible to fix without removing track?

you will need to break the track.it,s not as hard as it might seem just find the master pin, it will have a demple in the end of it.use a peice of round stock just smaller than the pin and drive out the pin with a sledge hammer.position the pin in a spot that it can be driven all the way through.unbolt the front ideler and move it ahead out of the way.take note of wear bars and plates and replace if needed.the adjuster can be removed now and disasembaled a new seal kit is available if the adjuster boar is to pitted it needs replaced. there are complet aftermarket adjuster availble.
