I have a Bobcat 722 that the starter keeps running until you disconnect the battery. New starter, solenoid, battery, cables, and ignition switch. Good voltage at ignition and starter. Any ideas why?

Make sure it is the right switch and wired right, then check the wiring.insulation might be worn or eaten away some place and putting voltage to the selinoid all the time

I disconnected the wire from the switch to the solenoid and ran a jumper wire and it still did the same thing.

I have one of these too. Did it run like that before you replaced the starter?
If it did not then I'd check the new starter out. Otherwise there is a short. Even though you disconnected that wire, a short might be present causing that to happen. Did you disconnect the old wire at the solenoid too? Check the wiring where it lays near the cage base, they often get pinched there.

Did you disconnect the wire on both ends?
If you did I'm lost. If not check for a short in the harness.
