Currently repairing track adjusters on International crawler. Would like to repair grouser pads as are 60% worn.(standard pads). What would be most cost effective way to fix? Where would best place to get parts?

Any dealer that handles crawlers and heavy equipment can easily supply "grouser bar". It is simply a formed hardened bar that is ready to weld in place. Steel suppliers would probably have it as well. The last stuff I had, I welded on with a 7018 rod. It was a lot of work. I would say if you can do the job yourself, you'll come ahead, provided the track shoes aren't worn thin too. If you're going to hire this out to a welder, then just save yourself a bunch of money and buy new track shoes. It will be cheaper in the long run.
