I just traded for this - the problem I"m having is that when you release the controls -it should go into neutral - but it doesn"t - depending on whether or not you were going forward or backwards - one side of the Bobcat will slowly move forward or backward. Any thoughts?

First thing raise the cab make sure nothing is rubbing the linkage, hose or something. Then grease the pivot points my t200 has 3 zerks grease them good work them some and grease them some more to work any dirt out. Oil the ball pivots on the pump end also they might be sticking. Im not sure if that model has the small gas centering cylinders or not if so check them if none of these things work you wont be out much

It's most likely time for steering bushing replacement and adjustment. Not an expensive task but an aggrivating one to say the least.
I recommend an experienced mechanic do this for you, not implying that you cant but to find and set neutral the machine must be running up on jackstands, to be able to set the blocks on the springplate in the neutral position.
