D6 Cat missing when cold

I have a D6-B that when you start in first thing in the morning it seems that one cylinder misses for a few minutes and everytime it does fire a little puff of blue smoke comes out. After about a minute or two it smooths out and never smokes. I have put the injector cleaner through her a few times but it is always there when it starts in the morning.
Will this hurt the engine? I was worried that if it is missing when cold, what is it doing when warmed up and under a good load.
Any suggestions?

A typical old Cat PC engine. Most all the CAT machines i have with PC engines will do that. I would run it and not worry. I would never drive a piece of equipment in the shop to tear the engine down. When I tear an engine down I always pull them in the shop, if you know what I mean.

Probably you have low compression on that cylinder and its not building enough heat to burn the fuel until it warms a bit and its not gonna get any better till this problem is taken care of i know probably not what you wanted to hear. good luck
