Actually Cat offers these in a well reproduced publication under their Legendary literature program, good quality. They were around $50.00 last I spoke with them 1 year ago. They also offer a catalog of all their publications listed, was $12.00 if I recal correctly. They have recognized the need and or market for the older tractors, it's a good program and when you need something you can read or duplicate to take into the shop to keep your orginal clean, it helps to have a clear original, especially photos and diagrams.

One of the things that irks me is the price of what another publisher ( if you can call them that ) offers for an ibico type spiral bound photo copy, print clarity is found to be unsatisfactory by many, something they do not tell you about up front and to be honest, I sent them a request for information regarding these details and never received a response. Some may find them ok, but there is no need for a conflict over it here, I take high exception to what they offer and how much they charge for it, it's photo copied, perforated and bound with a plastic spire.

There are usually many originals available on e-bay, especially for a 3T series, including the operators instructions, serviceman's reference book, parts catalog, caterpillar bulldozer No 7A, 7S, and cable control units. Nothing like an original in good shape, and the prices are usually very reasonable.

Did you look through the list they have available here on this site? Top link under "marketplace". Have your serial # handy. They've got quite a few manuals, for a fraction of what Cat wants.
