Loss of power, severe oil consumption prompted us to try and rebuild this farm machine with new sleeves, rings etc.The heavy pan is indented over the front crossmember and since we cannot get to things thru the side plates we need to remove the engine. It looks like the bell housing will need to be removed with the engine and the entire assembly lifted out.Does anyone know the approximate weight of this so we can arrange for appropriate lift apparatus.(Head is off but timing cover still on)Thanks for any info on this.

We unbolted everything today and will try a small Bobcat trackhoe first and if that doesn't lift it we have access to larger excavator that will be more complicated but we figured the ability to swing would help.May have more problems when we get into the engine. Thanks and stay tuned.
