My son 'helped' clean out the garage last week and proceeded to throw out the filter assembly and housing for the hydraulic system on my 1010c crawler with an 850 loader. The piece that I am looking for mounts both filters and bolts to the top of the hydraulic system tank mounted on the left side of the machine beside the operators position. I need the cast iron housing, filter spacers and washers, the filters I will replace. Any help in locating one would be greatly appreciated as the machine is completely useless without it. I will call the region tomorrow to see if I can get into the dump to look for it however it has been almost 5 days now and I live in a city of 500,000 people. I mean how much garbage could be piled on it in a week? Can't be that bad.....ya right, help please!

Jamie

I have several 1010 loaders and have sold some of those parts but believe there are still 2 or 3 out back. I am in western/central NY outside Rochester, email me for a link to my site

I'm in central New York, and I know where there are several. If you don't find one locally, let me know. I was just at a local tractor junkyard last week getting ripped off on some Allis Chalmers crawler parts. I noticed while I was there, at least a dozen 1010 crawlers laying in the weeds (some loaders, some dozers). The loaders still had the covers with the built-in restriction indicator. Also, several Cletrac HGs, a few Terra Tracs, Cases, Deere 420s, 440s, 350s, and 450s. I'm not sure if the tank-top on the 350 is the same for the 1010 or not - but if might be. I've got both, maybe I'll look later. I don't think you're going to find one with the filter spacers intact, they are almost always lost. And, when they are missing, the return filters usually falls off since the long 3/8" bolt can't be tightened properly. The spacer is easy to make though. Don't forget to check your suction filter that's at the bottom of the tank and can't be seen if there's oil in it.

Thanks JD I actually have a new/spare suction filter ready to install. I was wondering if the 350 filter setup was the same. I guess I should make a trip to the dealer to see if any of the numbers cross over. I will hopefully get there tomorrow and let you know what I find. Thanks for responding.
