I'm still trying to figure what you're calling a rail and shoe - it's making me think I'm getting senile. Maybe track-chain and pads? If so, there are plenty around. The old ones though, cannot be rebushed - as I've been told. The early tracks have 1 3/4" o.d. bushings that are no longer available. The later AC or Berco tracks have 1 7/8" bushings which are available. I've got a pretty beat set of tracks here now but that are only 35 links each instead of 36 - somebody cut a link out of each one. They are Bercos. I was just at a local scrapyard and they have several sets of tracks.

I know where there are several H3, HD3, H4, and HD4 parts machines, I'm working on one now. But, I have no idea what you are calling a rail and shoes? Do you mean the track frame?

Rails are the track chain, shoes are pads. Seems to be a regional term, most people in my area (South MS) use those terms. Don't go gettin' senile now, I just got my JD 350 going and will need your expertise for a long time yet! :)

ok, track chain and pads = rail and shoes. thats what i'm looking for. don't care what pads are on the chain as long as theres some good service left. i want to switch out with least effort and cost. i'll be getting back to responders late this week as i'm on job till then and can't focus on it now. thanks.
