are you sure It's a d-2 and not ad-4 they look just about alike and the roller frame on a 2 is weak in as far as the keeping them straight if you look under the back of the tractor in behind the drawbar if there's one there are 2 things that look sort of like a rod bearing cap on each side of center and that is what holds the roller frame in line with the sprocket so the track won't miss align and a d-2 doesn't have that and that is why a d-4 would be worth more to me than a 2 I myself wouldn't pay over 1500-2000for it for what it's worth theres my 2cents

Saw two at auction last year- first had factory blade, ran well (had elec starter belted to pony engine--hinge belt tightener), went for $3000. Other sale, rough looking, Disney blade (homemade mickey mouse outfit), sold in the low 2s. Imp thing is uc- first one was good 50%.

Check I-B dozing or the ACMOC boards- archives and live- easy to get quotes.

I had one about 30 years ago and wasn't impressed. It was a cord start pony motor and I could barely get it started then, wouldn't even think of buying one like that now. We have progressed beyond pulling ropes. As for what it's worth it all comes down to condition. (and how bad you want it)
